In 1977 with a background of experience and skill in repairing and servicing the luxury line of lighters since 1969, I was appointed the service technician at the Alfred Dunhill store in Beverly Hills, California to service and repair the complete line of Dunhill lighters and pens.

In 1979, with the help and support of ALFRED DUNHILL, I formed J&H SERVICES to provide service for all the Dunhill retail stores on the West Coast of the United States. Later, I extended my service to the trade and the consumers as well.

In 1980, J&H was appointed by S.T. DUPONT company in France an authorized service center for the complete line of their products in the United States, which include: Lighters, writing instruments, watches, smoking accessories and small leather goods.
